Paljaro reads your Saju — the Four Pillars of Destiny — from your birth date and time. The name means “the way of your destiny (八字).”

The traditional almanac, faithfully

Unlike quick calculators, Paljaro keeps the rules of classical Korean Myeongni:

• Year pillar turns at Ipchun (start of spring), not January 1st.
• Month pillar follows the exact time each of the 12 major solar terms begins.
• Day pillar cycles through the 60 Ganzhi for the precise day stem-branch.
• Hour pillar is adjusted for true solar time (the gap between clock time and real sun time).

Solar-term times are computed astronomically and stored in Korea Standard Time; lunar birth dates and leap months are supported.
